Call For Videos: How Are You Fighting?
UPDATE:
This call has been postponed. Our community is (incredibly understandably) not wanting to publicize their connection to the TGIN+ community. As we are being targeted in the US and beyond, it is beyond difficult for all of us and we understand the complications that could arise if we were to publish videos of everyone's faces at this time. We will return to this call when it is safer to do so.
About the Call
Submissions Open: 22 February 2025
Submissions Close: 31 March 2025
In a world that feels increasingly dark and heavy, it can be hard to hold onto hope. The weight of injustice, discrimination, and constant uncertainty can feel overwhelming, especially for TGIN+ communities. But even in the darkest moments, we find ways to fight back—not always with loud protests or big actions, but often in the quiet, personal moments that keep us going. Whether it’s dancing in your living room, cuddling with a partner, creating art, writing poetry, or marching in the streets, every act of joy, care, and resistance matters.
We invite you to share how you’re fighting the doom. What keeps you grounded? What brings you joy? Send us a short video (1-3 minutes) showing or telling us your way of pushing back against the darkness. Let’s remind each other that resistance takes many forms—and sometimes, just surviving is the most radical act of all.
