We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that exists to build community, provide resources, and educate the public on Transgender, Genderqueer, Intersex, and Nonbinary (TGIN+) topics through mainly history and art programming.
Our small but mighty team imagines a place in which we can proudly celebrate our worldwide community together. Our team aims to enact an ambitious plan to build or purchase space for a brick and mortar museum in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. We are hitting the ground running with interim programming like workshops, hangouts, and our signature event: an annual TGIN+ art exhibition.
Our goal is for the museum to become a staple in the community it serves for events, film screenings, education, speaking programs, research, art, gatherings, meetings, and much more. We want the building itself to signify a dramatic shift in the narrative about TGIN+ people and how we exist in society, as well as provide a safe haven and place of connection for people within the TGIN+ body.
Call For Videos: How Are You Fighting?

In a world that feels increasingly dark and heavy, it can be hard to hold onto hope. The weight of injustice, discrimination, and constant uncertainty can feel overwhelming, especially for TGIN+ communities. But even in the darkest moments, we find ways to fight back—not always with loud protests or big actions, but often in the quiet, personal moments that keep us going. Whether it’s dancing in your living room, cuddling with a partner, creating art, writing poetry, or marching in the streets, every act of joy, care, and resistance matters.
We invite you to share how you’re fighting the doom. What keeps you grounded? What brings you joy? Send us a short video (1-3 minutes) showing or telling us your way of pushing back against the darkness. Let’s remind each other that resistance takes many forms. Sometimes, just surviving is the most radical act of all.
